We are a blind union with a vision striving to make lifelong connections through empowering social events and activities.

Meet Our Founder

Marlon Stover, a fellow member of the blind community, established The Social Eyes Club of North Carolina in 2019. He began with the conviction and desire to support those who are also members of the blind and visually impaired community in living more socially.

Who, What and Why

Social Eyes is working to address the perceptions and issues that our community has regarding the visually impaired. Social Eyes members share a sense of community despite not having physical sight. Social Eyes is dedicated to supplying our members with knowledge that will support and reinforce our efforts to expand the opportunities available to the blind. The group’s members offer assistance, knowledge, and resources about a wide range of leisure activities, activities of interest, pastimes, community service endeavors, and other blindness-related concerns.
